Statement of Faith
We believe in the BIBLE: The written Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Old and New Testament contains a scripture for everything. 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21
We believe in GOD: The Trinity of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God is Love and He loves all people. His desire is to bring hope to all. John 10:30; John 14:26; Philippians 2:5-7, Psalm 68:5-6; 1 John 4:16
We believe in JESUS: God’s eternal Son, the Lord Jesus Christ born of the virgin Mary; yet without sin. He will return and take all those who have accepted HIM as personal Saviour to heaven for eternity. Without Jesus we cannot have a relationship with God. Acts1:11, 1Thessalonians 4:13-17; Hebrews 9:28 Genesis 1:26; 1 Timothy 2:5.
We believe in BAPTISM: Water baptism, as taught and demonstrated by Jesus, as the way for believers to identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Matthew 3:13-17
We believe in HEALING: There is Divine healing through Jesus, who is the Healer. Healing includes physical, emotional and spiritual restoration. Luke 9:11, Matthew 9:35, Acts 10:38; Matthew 10:1.
We believe in DIVINE SPIRITUAL GIFTS: God gives all believers Divine spiritual gifts. They are for the strengthening of God's people and confirmation of God's existence to believers. 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; 1 Peter 4:10
We believe in the CHURCH: This is the body of Christ, to proclaim the gospel, edify God and to promote peace, love and unity. Ephesians 1:22-23; Hebrews 12:23.
This is not a complete statement of faith. It is our belief in the foundational truths of Christian faith.
